First off comfort and audio quality on this headset is great, the stand is a cool addition, features like the removable boom mic (which I am sad uses the smaller audio jack to avoid “shenanigans”), and multi point connection, and addition of the aptX 24 bit depth are great additions that I love. The media control buttons on this headset are absolutely awesome, they are all tactile physical buttons and the volume control is a rocking circular switch, these are the best feeling media controls I have used in a long time. I found this headset terribly disappointing, as it fails to perform on pair with any other headset with multi point, and certain features are absolutely bogus. The multi point works, but not how other headsets work, when connecting the usb receiver to a PC and Bluetooth to a phone, the headset works as advertised BUT the PC only ever uses hands free mode, instead of dynamically switching when a call is started, literally any pair of Bluetooth listening devices with a microphone are capable of doing this basic task, secondly the multipoint only switches during a phone call from the phone, and no amount of sound priority takes place to decide which device to play audio from, my two other multipoint devices are capable of dynamically switching between devices no problem but this headset just can’t. My second complaint is USB connection, seriously anything released after 2020, and is over 60$ should use USB C, and not the old micro B connector, the included stand uses micro B, and the included cord (which is a very good cable) are all this connector type that really should be phased out. Third, which is something I probably should have lead with, and included in the title of the review, the headset has two right ear cups, so to say, the left ear piece is completely backwards, leading the boom mic, and the built in mic to completely face the wrong way when wearing the headset correctly, never have I ever seen such a glaring quality control issue, I can’t imagine what occurred in the factory to result in this disgusting error. My last issue is that when connected to a pc through Bluetooth, there are two real bad audio glitches that randomly but consistently occur, first is the headset will “spark” sound then cut out, requiring a power cycle to fix (destiny-ing this glitch to happen again), or sometimes require a re-pairing to fix. The second audio glitch is much worse, as after some time the headset will randomly cut out every half second causing this horrible static distortion to play through the speakers until you power cycle the headset again.Overall this headset had everything I would want in a multipoint headset, all the bells and whistles, but the way it goes along in implementing the features, as well as it’s horrifying hardware and software issues have completely ruined my experience with the headset, and would lead me to just not recommend this headset at all.
