60H Playtime LED Power Display Earphones IPX5 Waterproof Sport in-Ear Bluetooth Earbuds Noise Cancelling for iPhone&Android (Black)
The earbuds come attractively packaged in a small retail-marked box that is sealed in plastic. It has a picture of the earbuds on the front and manufacturer info on the back. Inside the box, the earbuds themselves are in the recharge/ storage box that is well. Padded by a foam cut out. There is also a small box marked ‘accessories’ and a tiny instruction manual. The accessories box has a very short USBA to USBC charging cable, and replacement gaskets for the earbuds, in case you need a different size than the one that comes installed.
As is true with many earbuds sets, the storage box has a small battery in it, so it also recharges the earbuds. I’ve put that on to charge, while I take a look at the instruction booklet. When you plug it into charge, there are four little green LEDs that glow on the front, telling you how much charge is on the battery. For example, in my case, it has three solid greens and one flashing. That means that it’s 3/4 charged and working on topping it off. ( More or less, as it’s in 25% increments)
The headphones pair easily with my Bluetooth. They show up on my Bluetooth list as i7, and paired almost immediately. Sound through the earphones is pretty good, although lacking a bit in base. That is to be expected with this type of earbud, the base response is not phenomenal. After all, the speakers are less than the diameter of a pencil eraser. According to the manufacturer, full charging time from discharge to an hour to an hour and a half. It didn’t take me that long to top off the charger base, but it arrived with a partial charge on it already. They state that the music playing time would be 5 to 7 hours, but honestly, I can’t have earbuds in for that long because they get itchy. That’s just my personal response, some people can wear earbuds all day long, and some people can’t wear them at all. When you remove the buds from the case, they automatically power on, and when you have both of them out of the case they auto-pair to each other. I like that you can only use one if you want to, and not have to use both. Sometimes I like to use just one earbud so I can listen to my surroundings with the other ear.
The bottom line on these earbuds? They’re fairly inexpensive, so you won’t cry if you happen to lose one, and the sound from them is acceptable. For a budget earbud, I don’t think you can go wrong with these.
